Chrome Extension

Add anything to NotebookLM — and TutorBook — at once.

The free NotebookLM Importer extension lets you save any webpage, article, or YouTube video to a NotebookLM notebook and your TutorBook account simultaneously, with a single click.

How it works

While browsing any webpage or watching a YouTube video, open the extension popup, choose a NotebookLM notebook, and click "Add as Source." That's it — the content lands in NotebookLM and your TutorBook account at the same time.

  1. Install the extension Add NotebookLM Importer to Chrome from the Chrome Web Store. No account required to install.
  2. Open NotebookLM once The extension reads your notebooks directly from NotebookLM in the background — no copy-pasting needed.
  3. Browse to any page or YouTube video Navigate to an article, a lecture recording, a research page — anything you want to study.
  4. Click the extension, pick a notebook, hit "Add as Source" The page is added to NotebookLM as a source. If you're signed in to TutorBook, it's synced there too — automatically.

Works with YouTube, web pages, and local PDFs. Add a YouTube lecture to your notebook, a Wikipedia article, a class website, or a PDF open in your browser tab — the extension handles all three formats.

Why connect to TutorBook?

When you sign in to TutorBook from the extension, every source you add to NotebookLM is also saved to your TutorBook account as a study material. From there you can:

  • Start an AI-guided audio lesson on the material
  • Check homework answers against the source content
  • Generate challenge questions at Basic, Intermediate, or Advanced level
  • Let your child study independently while you track their progress

TutorBook pulls the raw text from the NotebookLM source after it finishes processing and builds a full lesson experience around it — no manual upload required.

Free to use
