Advanced Study Methods
Diagnostic Tests
When you upload a new document, you can opt to take a 5-question proficiency assessment first. This helps TutorBook tailor the complexity of your lessons and explanations to your current knowledge level.
Visual Mode vs Standard Mode
For documents with heavy diagrams, slides, or handwritten notes, use Visual Mode. It uses advanced image-based reasoning to analyze the layout and visual context. For text-heavy papers, Standard Mode is faster and more efficient.
Frequently Asked Questions
You can upload up to 10 images (as photos or from your library) per course. If you have more pages, we recommend scanning them into a single PDF file first.
Credits are used when the AI processes your documents or answers your questions. Pro users get 10 million credits a month, which is effectively unlimited for even the most intensive study schedules.
Yes! Use "Collections" to group courses and share an invite code with your classmates. They can join your collection and study the same materials.
TutorBook is currently optimized for iOS and iPadOS. An Android version and a full Web dashboard are currently in development.
TutorBook is available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac laptops. You can find it on the App Store for all three platforms.
